Tutoring Programs

Carlson students have access to two FREE tutoring programs for those children in need of additional academic support. Mrs. Kate Foy, the school interventionist, through a Title I grant provides tutors (who are also classroom teachers). Notices are sent home with K-6 students eligible for tutoring. Parents return the forms with the requested information. In addition, private tutors are always an option for parents to consider to provide extra support for their child’s success.
Though Carlson does not recommend or endorse the listed tutoring program, the information is provided to parents as a resource only. The listed program is for children in the sixth grade and is also FREE to students.
